Willie Hubbard, Jr
Willie Hubbard, Jr., a native of Ocala, Florida, is the Evangelist / Teacher of the District Heights Church of Christ in District Heights, Maryland. He has served here since April of 1989 and has been preaching and teaching for over 40+ years. He is a 1984 graduate of Lubbock Christian University, of Lubbock Texas, with a B.A. in Bible.
Bro. Hubbard has served and worked with congregations in Florida, Texas, and Maryland. He has served as a deacon, an elder and evangelist. He has preached and taught nationally and also abroad. Bro. Hubbard helped to initiate the Redland Christian Academy in 1979, a Christian School in Homestead, FL., serving on the board of advisors from 1978-1981. He has served in the U.S. Army and also worked for the Department of Justice and the Department of Defense.
